Project themes

 

Primitivism:

Primitivism includes admiring and appreciating the old cultural work or product, this theme allows creators use old pieces as a base to their new creations that is why I have decided to choose the loveknot necklace, an old Algerian jewellery known to represent eternal and unconditional love and is also associated with health, and spirituality.

POP Art:

the POP art style reflects everyday products and criticise the daily life, with regards to its popularity and the part it had on the popular culture it got named POP art. For this theme I would choose to make comics, because it attracts all the focus and have a story to tell, it is a show and a book merged together. comics also make it easier for readers to live the story they re reading.

Industrial:

The industrial art style inspired by old factories and industrial spaces, This theme is considered as a lasting art style and not just a trend. If I had to choose this theme for my project I would definitely use the high ceilings and large windows and maybe woods and that is because I am a huge fan of open spaces and natural lighting   

crazy eights:

We were asked to choose one of the themes mentioned above and sketch eight drawings based on the theme chosen, I chose the industrial theme and the following images are the results of what I did
