Project research: The Red Box
The Red Box
In this blog I will explain my intensions to use the red box exhibition in Nanjing, China, designed by mix architecture, as an inspiration for the Project I am working on. The exhibition centre was built as a turning point addition to the Hong Chuang Park paying homage to the mountain s history that surrounds the region. The monument is also a part from the Industrial architecture which is the theme I decided to adopt for my project, "The front facade of the red woodgrain concrete responds to the historical industrial buildings in the area with the same scale and colour, all of which are composed of red bricks," studio co-founder( Dezeen,2023 told by Wuu,2023).

If you are thinking of using red woodgrain as an alternative to concrete, state here that you are going to look in more depth into this material.
ReplyDeleteThe second paragraph is a repeat of the first. Edit this, correct any errors and talk more about the links to your project in terms of the de3sign of this building - you could use an image of yours that you are working on to compare and contrast the two.
I spoke to you in the studio in Week 5 and gave you a clear list of what I expected to see on your blog before our tutorial in Week 6. I was not joking. Reviewing your blog so far, this is not anywhere near meeting the marking criteria. If you do not start to take this project seriously you will fail this assessment. Please update this before I see you in Week 6.
