Odile Decq is a French architect and urban planner. born in the small French town of Laval in Brittany in 1955, she studied architecture in Rennes and then Paris, her partner and husband, Benoit cornette, had switched from medicine to architecture and was still studying when she opened the practice in 2979, the couple made an immediate impact on the rather dull architecture scene in France in the early 1990s, They were very radical, young French goths and it was like breath of fresh air", lessor informed Dezeen team. I think her work is related to my project because she uses unique colours for her buildings. Bright, warm colors (reds, oranges, yellows) stimulate energy and happiness while cool, subdued colors (blues, greens, purples) are soothing and calming.
