Supermarket in Athens / KLab architecture
KLab's supermarket is Known for its high-end brand, Thanopoulos offers an extensive variety of sophisticated imported goods that are rarely found in other supermarkets in Athens(Kokkinias , 2014). This unique selection made me think of the ethnics in Cromwell and after looking at the demographics in the area I found that there are different racial groups but in small amount, still I thought of it as a way to solve an issue for the community and make the supermarket interesting and attracting the community by customising a section for international supplies, I know that would make it an important shopping destination for those seeking premium product from my own experience as an international student in the UK I walk approximately 25 minutes to a supermarket due to the Algerian supplies provided there.
The KLab supermarket layout aims to optimize customer flow, but over the years(Bisti, 2024), additions have made navigation difficult (Kokkinias, 2014). My supermarket will feature a simple floor plan with flexible, adjustable layouts. Strategic section placement, clear signage, and intuitive pathways will ensure seamless and confusion-free shopping.
