Target Audience (UPDATED)

 Target market research 

 The target market of my supermarket is influenced by the demographics, lifestyle, and preferences of the local population of Cromwell. Most of the population in Cromwell are English and the rest is a diversity of ethnics communities (Africans, Europeans, and Asians)(data.census.gov, 2021). My Supermarket will be serving these communities and in order to achieve that I will provide a aisle for some international ingredients, spices, and specialty foods to cater to different races in the area.

 Cromwell is not a very populated town, almost 14000 people live in the town(data.census.gov, 2021).

 In order to understand the population and its needs I studied the Ancestry of people living in Cromwell and the percentages of each group, as the following image is illustrating

    My supermarket will target families and nonfamily households with low  to average incomes, since the yearly earnings in the town can not be considered as high, the reason why I am focusing on providing supplies based on locally sourced products, also to give the customers a better experience My supermarket offers convenient services like online ordering with home delivery.

In addition to that in terms of education and working, the educational achievements in the area are not that high as most student drop out in a very early age after graduating high school.

Another factor that made me consider the town as a not very rich area is the rent prices as shows the statistics in the illustration below. but also I am taking into consideration the 9% of people whom are able to afford rentals with 3000$ and the ones that are financially able to afford owning a house.
