To gain more knowledge about supermarkets, and the construction techniques adopted I looked at the climate protection supermarket in Graz, Austria known for its sustainability and energy-self-sufficient due to the Innovative building technologies used in the construction including heat recovery systems, sectional foundation slabs for cooling and heating, and room ventilation, are complemented by energy-efficient LED lighting and daylight management systems that effectively reduce lighting requirements (Schuller, 2012)
In addition to that the roof include green roof circles enabling the rainwater to permeate the structure and the surrounding vegetation, and a hydrologic balance(ArchDaily,2012)
